Finally Friday!

I finally got a little time to sit down and update on what's been going on around here! With dance being over for the summer and finishing all our major projects around here....now it is time to get back in a ROUTINE and back to normal! I live to be on a routine and being pulled in so many directions lately has really worn me out! However, it was all FUN and I enjoyed every minute of it. Riley's dance revue was absolutely wonderful. Not only was she a doll, but it is really great to see all of my friends little girls dancing too....they are all our little mini-me's!! Precious! Anya is absolutely wonderful and is able to give these girls soooo much more opportunites in dance than we could have asked for "back in the day". Some of the girls left you speechless. Amazing! Here is our little "cupcake" and "cookie monster"!

Gavin has 3 out of the 4 molars now...so guess what, we have a HAPPY baby now! (that is until that 4th one pops out =) ) His new thing is CLIMBING....on EVERYTHING! He is so curious and always trying to figure things out. It kind of scares me because I know I'm going to catch him taking apart things and trying to fix it! He is very curious on how things work and is starting to put the pieces together! He loves CRAYONS! He will find a crayon anywhere and refuse to let it go! At least he isn't eating them anymore....he passed that on to Tucker, who's favorite thing to do right now is EAT the colors! Thank god they are non-toxic, right?! Papa bought the kids a little swimming pool for Easter and Gavi isnn't soo sure about it yet. Gavin LOVES balls also. He can't have enough, so if you pass by my house...you will see like 10 balls in the yard....=)

The Easter Bunny also came to town!!! He dropped off a Trampoline and lots of goodies!!!

We also went of a ZOO trip with Ms Kayla and Mallory!!!!

And even took the kids to BILOXI for the day! Gavin's first "beach" trip!!

Ready to go!

He wasn't too sure about the sand!

What is this?

OOHHHH!

Riley knew just what to do!

Going for a swim!

Building her sandcastle!

Gosh doggit Mom! Stop with the pictures =) It would have been a cute one though!! Ha!

Last but not least here are their Spring Pictures! I'm so proud of them because they came out wonderful!

I can't wait to enjoy Mother's Day with these Angels! God has blessed me with a wonderful little family and I simply could not ask for more!

We have been very BUSY BEEs !!!!

It's been a couple of weeks since I was able to blog, not that we haven't been doing anything around here....simply because things just won't slow down!!! First of all, we are preparing for Riley's first dance recital! It seems that I am reliving my childhood....its just such a blessing that I get to watch her enjoy something that used to be such a big part of my life. We took dance pictures and actually put " a little" makeup on her. It was the first time we every did that....and she was soooo excited! It was the cutest little thing I ever saw! I love that babygirl soooo much! We can't wait for her to ( or not to) perform on the big stage!!! She sure looks like an angel though!

Mr Gavin has been teething pretty bad lately. He is now cutting 3 of his molars, so he is just not having the best of days! He has his moments where he is super happy....then he gets really whiny! Thats ok...just more for mommy to love! He is getting sooo big. His new thing is to run and climb on the fireplace and it sound like he is preaching. He will do this for an hour! He loves to yell, "JUMP" out of no where...except i don't think he understands the defference between JUMP and BOUNCE. lol. He is very verbal, however, I think he likes to speak in Chinese! He's a HAM!

I on the other hand have been getting creative making Riley some new hairbows. I really enjoy making them! It's pretty fun! Here are my first ones! Also we have finished redoing Mr Glenn's china cabinet he made to match our house. We ended up using it as two separte pieces instead of the china cabinet. It came out pretty good considering how much work it was....NEVER AGAIN!

And our landscaping is about 80% done....I'm too exhausted to even take pictures of it though! =)

Snowballs and Playin in the Park!

Today was a great day for us! Riley started "wetting the bed" so we are trying the positive reinforcement and praising her for when she doesn't have an accident....well she did NOT have an accident lastnight! She is SOOOO excited when she woke up because she would get a snowball after daycare =) So, of course I got her favorite "pink bubblegum" and Gavin and I went to pick her up at daycare! I suprised her with a visit to the park and we had a good time! The sound of their laughter while swinging is pure joy. I don't think there is a better sound. Chris is working nights so he didn't get to join us....but he promised when he is off we will do it again! She even went to bed early tonight....so we can "try it again". She requests a purple snowball tomm.

Just another Saturday!

Nothing too excited has been going on in the Pourciau household. We did get to go to Marksville on Thursday and bought lots and lots of plants to landscape around the house! Hopefully our dirt will be delievered on Monday and we can start! Just all the colors and greenry around the house makes it feel so much more cozy!! I can't wait until we are done! We took the kids to Kite Fest this afternoon and Riley of course had a blast flying her little kite she made! Gavin on the other hand, wasn't about all the heat! He did enjoy watching all the kites and kids running around! He is growing so fast. He is starting to repeat words and it just is freaking me out! It seems like we just snapped our fingers and BAM, he's growing up! Riley is such a little lady now....and def. lets us know she is not a baby! Can we just stop time for a little while, please?!?!?!

A new week is starting!!!

Well, an end to a very busy work weekend for Chris and I. The kids stayed all weekend at MeMe's and Big C's house ( Chris's mom and her BF). They took them to the Fordoche fair, and Riley was sooo excited to tell me all about going down the slide and riding the helicopter and "fire fire" AKA fire truck.  I was so lost without any of them here.....I am sooo happy they are finally back home! It's crazy that when you always want a break, but after 30 min of the kids being gone...it just doesn't seem right and you miss them like crazy! So, this week I am going to spoil them a little extra =) Tomm Chris wants to go to Sears to get some blades for the lawnmower, Yippee for us! We are finally starting to settle down in our new home! After being here a year, we pretty much have everything in the inside how we want in and now it's time to work on the outside =) We planted a couple of trees last week and can't wait to start watching them grow! Hopefully by the end of the week we can get some more limestone and dirt and start plotting our flowerbeds and redo our driveway! It is so bare outside right now...I can't wait to make it come to life!!! We will be pretty busy for a while....but this is fun "work" to me!!!! I'll post pics when we are done!!! Have a great week everyone!!!

Our Other Kids.....

This is Tucker! We are sooo lucky to have had him given to us from a great friend! He has fit into our family ( and our neighbors) perfectly! Tucker likes to be outside, he loves watching the kids play, barking at strangers, chasing birds, treats, eating Gavin's food, and taking rides in the car! He is such a sweet dog and We love him bunches!

And this is our "tailess" cat, Sammy. Sammy had probably had 5/9 lives. Bless his heart, he got ran over and we had to amputate his rotten tail. He loves to eat mice, bugs, try to sneak inside, and SLEEP. I must say...he wasn't very sure about Tucker coming into his home, but now they are two peas in a pod! Don't try to come in my yard...if the dog don't bark you to death....Sammy will def try to run you off too =) We love Sammy!

Well, I've posted  about our 2 kids....and our "other" 2 kids! As you can tell, we are two VERY proud parents! Chris and I have been married for 5 years and have grown sooo much. I fall in love with him more everyday. He truly is my best friend, my soulmate. We are so different, yet so much alike. I guess that's why we get along so well! Now, that I have introduced you to our family...I will try to update frequently about our daily lives! Hope ya'll enjoy and welcome to our blog =)

Meet Mr. Gavin Glenn!!!

Here is Mr. Gavin!!!!
If there ever was a picture on the side of the phrase "Momma's boy"...I promise Gavin's picture would be all over it =) I take much pride in it too!!! Gavin had such a rough start in this life...and mommy and daddy did to =) He was a SCREAMER! ....but look at that little face, it melts my heart and I can't help but kiss those sweet cheeks constantly! Gavin has just made 1 in Feb. and he is growing up sooo fast! I have the pleasure of staying home with him during the week and he is my little "buddy", following my every move! He LOVES his sister and "her toys" sooo much! Gavin is a typical BOY! He loves trucks and getting dirty! He LOVES to play outside! I can't leave out his other fav toy...a broom!  He is strong minded and lets you know when he's mad. He has already started throwing fits....but I must say its the cutest fits ever! He is finally starting to sleep all night...that is unless another tooth is coming in! Gotta love the tooth fairy! We just started him on whole milk...and he loves to eat! His fav is cinnamon french toast, mac and cheese, and of course chicken nuggets! His fav snacks are an apple or cheese balls! And I can't leave out how much he adores his Papa...his eyes and smile are priceless when he sees him! We love you Gavin!!!
